Travel 2024 – Planning first half

I’ve told you before my travel planning for the rest of 2023, where we are in right now. Next week is my trip to Antwerp, 3 weeks later to Budapest and around Christmas time we’re going to a lovely small city in the Champagne area in France. We’re heading towards the end of 2023. That means my planning for travel 2024: the first half! YEAH! What is to come?

Sidenote: I can change as fast as the weather sometimes, so there’s definitely a possibility that things will change when the time comes, but this is the planning I have right now.

January – Vienna

Is Booked!

So, there are a few destinations that I definitely want to travel to in 2024, but I’ve been going back and forth with when I should visit. Vienna is one of them. In January it’s probably still beautiful with all the Holiday decorations, but incredibly cold!

But with this one I think I will go for the beauty instead of the weather. That doesn’t mean that Vienna isn’t beautiful in the summer though, because it definitely is! But I really want to capture it with those holiday decorations.

February – Disneyland hotel(?) & Lapland

I don’t know if you guys heard about it, but the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris has been renovated for some time now and I’ve heard what they are going to do with it and how it will look like.. I have to go there! It will reopen at January 25th and I actually wanted to go at the opening date, but the suite that I’m interested in was fully booked real soon. So, that means.. February! Hopefully! I have to say that I do have some doubts still to book it right now, because you can only book it with entrance tickets and as you may know, I have an annual pass. Which means that I don’t have to pay for those tickets, so that’s a kind of waste of money. But if you only want to book the room without those tickets, you have to wait until October. That’s still a year of waiting! So, I haven’t figured this out fully yet, haha.

Since that is actually only really about the hotel experience and the beautiful suite, it doesn’t really count for a trip (especially because it’s VERY close to home). So there has to be something else as well. I’ve been wanting to see the northern lights forever, so I decided to take a trip to Lapland in February. It will still be Winter Wonderland around that time.

March – Marrakech?

Marrakech has been on my list for some time now and I hear that the temperature is quite good in March. So I’m planning to enjoy all the beauty that Marrakech has to offer in March!

April – Cappadocia

Is BOOKED!

You might have heard of it because its famous hot air balloons. Of course I MUST experience that myself as well. In April it will be a good temperature to visit and be comfortable. So, of course, if you know me a little bit, I booked a beautiful suite. I’m going to tell you all about it when I get back. You just have to wait a little bit, haha.

May – Greece

Who’s Greek Island hopping? In May I am! Ios, Paros, Mykonos, Santorini, Rodos. Because it’s planned in May, it still takes a long time before this is happening. So I’m not really busy with booking this for now, although I’ve booked one of them already. I can’t wait to see the beauty that these islands have to offer!

June – BALI

Alright, so since it’s not even November when writing this blog post, June sounds soooo far away still and I definitely can’t say that I’m 100% sure that this will be my June trip, BUT Bali has been on my list for a long time now and I think it’s time for me to go. June is a great month for traveling to Bali and it’s still before tourist season, so it has a really good chance that I’ll go there in June.

There it is guys! My planning for the first half of 2024. The things you can expect to see on my blog and social media. How exciting? I can’t wait to explore all of these beautiful places and show them to you!

Do you already have something planned in 2024?
